A simple sub assignment form is conveniently accessible in Google Calendar. All teachers are alphabetized in the "Who needs a sub?" question.
All Grade Levels and Classes appear in a sorted dropdown menu.
Pre-established blocks makes it easy to identify the start and end times of the calendar event.
Assign a sub from a dropdown list of teachers.
Select a classroom from the Location(s) dropdown menu.
A "Teacher Notes" question can easily convey sub plans to the intended sub.
Review selected details in the sidebar prior to assigning the internal coverage
Start and End Times are automatically generated based on block selection, but can still be edited to accommodate a special schedule.
Click "Assign Sub" to finalize.
A Google Calendar event is created on a dedicated Sub Manager calendar, inviting the assigned sub, triggering an email notification about the invite to the sub.
By clicking on the "Export Events" button, you can easily export a detailed Google Sheets report of all assigned subs during a pay period.

Export a larger date range to see trends over a longer time period.
The Google Sheet Report is accessible via a hyperlink in the sidebar and stored in Google Drive. It is named according to the payroll date range and lists details of each assiged coverage.
